AI Visibility Scorecard
A three-minute signal check across the five factors that determine whether AI systems can describe your company accurately and recommend it in your category. Two of the five questions are live checks against the AI assistant your customers are most likely to ask.
Read your five AI visibility signals in about three minutes.
Five questions, mapped to the five signals AI systems use to decide whether to describe and recommend a company. Two of them are live checks: you will query an AI assistant about your own company and answer based on what it actually said.
Have an incognito or private browser window ready. Logged out matters, because a logged-in session reflects your own history rather than what a stranger sees.
Direct Answer
The AI Visibility Scorecard is a three-minute self-assessment that scores a company from 0 to 20 across five AI visibility signals: Entity Clarity, Authority Signals, Structured Content, Topic Association, and Brand Recognition. Two questions are live checks, where you ask an AI assistant about your own company in a logged-out incognito window and score what it actually said. The total maps to one of four bands: AI-Ready, Emerging Signal, Narrative Drift, or Invisible.
What does the scorecard measure?
Each question maps to one of the five AI visibility signals. Answers score 0 to 4, for a total between 0 and 20.
- 1
Entity Clarity
Live checkHow did it answer, right now?
- 2
Authority Signals
In the last 90 days, has your company earned any new press, citations, or reviews online?
- 3
Structured Content
Has anyone checked your site's schema markup or AI-crawler access in the last 90 days?
- 4
Topic Association
Live checkDid your company come up?
- 5
Brand Recognition
Did it describe what makes you different, or default to generic language?
What do the score bands mean?
AI-Ready
16 to 20Your signals are largely in place right now. The work from here is tracking drift over time, not fixing a gap. A good result today can quietly decay in a few months without monitoring.
Emerging Signal
10 to 15You're partially visible, but AI's picture of you is incomplete or inconsistent. A few targeted fixes could meaningfully change how you're recommended.
Narrative Drift
5 to 9There's a real gap between how you describe yourself and how AI just described you. This is the exact pattern our DRIFT framework is built to correct.
Invisible
0 to 4AI systems currently have little to work with when it comes to your company. In an answer-engine-driven market, that's a discovery problem, not just a marketing one.
Frequently asked questions
What is the AI Visibility Scorecard?
The AI Visibility Scorecard is a three-minute self-assessment scored across the five signals AI systems use to describe and recommend companies: Entity Clarity, Authority Signals, Structured Content, Topic Association, and Brand Recognition. Two of the five questions are live checks, where you query an AI assistant about your own company and score what it actually said.
Why does the scorecard ask for an incognito window?
A logged-in AI session reflects your own history and prior conversations, which inflates how well the model appears to know your company. An incognito or private window with no account attached is closer to what a prospect, investor, or acquirer sees on a first query.
How is the score calculated?
Each of the five signal questions scores 0 to 4 based on the answer you select, for a total between 0 and 20. That total maps to one of four bands: AI-Ready, Emerging Signal, Narrative Drift, or Invisible. The scorecard also names your single weakest signal and the DRIFT stage it maps to.
Is the scorecard the same thing as a Narrative Drift Scan?
No. The scorecard is self-reported and directional, based on your own observations in a handful of queries. A Narrative Drift Scan is work we perform, comparing how multiple AI platforms describe your company against your intended narrative and the sources they are drawing from.
Who is the scorecard built for?
It is built for investor relations and biopharma communications teams, private equity and M&A teams assessing a company's discoverability, professional services firms, and local or SMB service businesses. The questions are the same across all four; the category you enter shapes how we follow up.
